Iron Fists coach leading a strength and conditioning session

Iron Fists Academy's Kids Class is for ages 8–14 and covers boxing fundamentals, fitness, coordination and confidence. A parent or guardian arranges training using their own contact details. The coach confirms suitability and current session times before the child attends.

What does Kids Class cover?

The published programme includes technique fundamentals, fitness drills and supervised partner work, with coordination, balance, respect and self-discipline as part of training. Discuss your child's starting point and goals directly with the coach.

Ask what the proposed sessions involve, including contact levels and supervision arrangements. Sparring requires the coach's approval. Submitting a request does not give permission to spar or confirm a place.

What does it cost?

The published Kids Class price is R0: free, with donations welcome. You can check this alongside the other group-class prices. Confirm programme arrangements directly rather than assuming that adult membership prices or paid personal-training packages apply.

How does a parent or guardian request training?

  1. Open the Kids Class page and its request form.
  2. Use the parent or guardian option, enter your child's name and provide your own WhatsApp contact details.
  3. Choose the week you would like and submit the request.
  4. Wait for the coach to confirm suitability, current kids' times and the arrangements for attending.

The weekly form offers Monday-start weeks. A week request does not reserve every session. Keep the private management link from the receipt safe; use it or contact the coach if you need to discuss a change.

Questions to ask before the first visit

  • Which kids' session is appropriate for your child's age and experience?
  • What time should you arrive, and when will that session finish?
  • What equipment or preparation applies to the agreed session?
  • What should a parent or guardian know about attendance and contact arrangements?
  • Where is the entrance, and what parking or access information do you need?

These questions are for the coach to answer for your child's actual visit. The academy's regular group starts are not a confirmed kids' timetable or a guarantee of availability.

Where is the academy?

Training is at Primrose Cricket and Rugby club, 74 Loch Rd, Claremont, Cape Town 7708. The arrival guide provides the map, telephone and WhatsApp links.

Review the first-visit guide and agree your child's arrangements before travelling. For dedicated paid coaching, discuss personal training separately with the coach.
